Atlas® World Group Hires New Senior Director of Data Management

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (Feb. 22, 2022) – Atlas ^®World Group, Inc. announces today that Julio Yumpe has been hired as Senior Director of Data Management. Prior to joining the Atlas^® team, Yumpe served as the Manager of IT Architecture for a cloud-based loan solution company.

In his new role, Yumpe will develop and execute the Atlas World Group data strategy, including the business needs of the company’s ten subsidiaries and stakeholders. He will lead a data team that ensures the security, privacy, integrity, and availability of data in operational, reporting and analytics data environments. Yumpe is responsible for the development and communication of key metrics and key performance indicators to consistently show the business value of the company’s data investments.

Yumpe joins Atlas with extensive experience in IT architecture and data processing. In his previous role as IT Architecture Manager for LenderDoor, he was responsible for leading design and development of a highly available and fault-tolerant web and mobile lending platform, involved in all stages from concept, development, testing and release. Yumpe earned his bachelor’s degree from Universidad Nacional De Ingeniería in Lima, Perú in 2005, and earned his MBA from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2013.
