We have moved five times in the past twenty five years. Our best move was our first and it was with Atlas. I remember the driver’s name, Pat Hattfield. Since that move in 1989, we have had two horrible moves! When this current move came up from Texas to Georgia, I was instructed by my company to get three bids of which Atlas was the highest. I got approval to use Atlas because of the trauma a move can cause and my wife’s comfort level from our move in 1989 with Pat Hattfield. We contracted though the Imlach Group and Leo Klisch was the agent. Now to the important part, Mark Younk was our driver and his wife Liz worked with him. He was told that we held Pat Hattfiled as your gold standard and expected service at least to that level. Well, Mark provided us with our best move EVER. Mark Younk is your new Atlas Gold Standard and needs to be recognized for his attention to detail, care for the emotions of the people involved and picking the perfect crews at BOTH ends. Thank you, Atlas, for having people like Mark Younk in your organization! When the team of Mark and Liz left our house, it was like saying good-bye to old friends. Mark is #1 in my book, thank you again.

There is a 15 year family tradition of writing the CEO of Atlas and thanking them for the service we've received from Merchants Moving and Storage in Boise, Idaho. That may seem a bit unusual but so too is the number of times we have moved back and forth between Houston and Boise. We're hopeful that this is the last, but we've said that before! Our first move with Atlas (Merchants Moving) was in 2000 from Bellaire, Texas to Eagle, Idaho. My husband Ray had just accepted the position of CEO of Blue Cross of Idaho. Only Ray was happy about the move. The rest of us (three children and one old, fat dog) were all miserable - into that chaos came Neil Lambert. Neil is an amazing individual and the absolute best at his job. He found a way to no only ensure that all of our belongings would be well cared for but to establish relationships with me, my children and Ray. That move prompted the first thank you note to Atlas! Ray was so impressed with the service that he continued to have Merchants and Ron Grove coordinate the movers for all of the executives he brought it. We too moved from one home to another and Ron coordinated every detail, up until and including moving us back to Houston in 20012. So imagine his surprise when I called again in February to let him know we were moving back. This move was another challenging one. Health issues and some sadness were part of what got packed. I cannot begin to tell you how relieved and grateful I was to see Neil and his wonderful team at my door. At this point we feel like old friends. One would imagine that most of your clients will not need to relocate quite so frequently. But isn't it extraordinary to have competent, caring professionals there when you do? Moving is always surrounded with uncertainty and yet for us there is certainty. We are certain we will have nothing but the best service from Merchants and in our case, a chance to visit with old friends.
