Slater Transfer and Storage was voted Best Moving Service for 2020, taking Silver Place in Las Vegas’ “Best of Las Vegas 2020” contest. Despite a pandemic, the 2020 contest was the largest in its 39 year history as well as the first in which moving services was included as a category. According to Best of Las Vegas, “In 2020, Best of Las Vegas experienced the largest number of businesses competing and the largest number of nominations received…nearly double compared to the 2019 contest.” Voting began September 1 and concluded on September 30 with over 1.8 million ballots submitted and 5.6 million votes cast in over 350 categories.

While Slater clearly offered award-winning service to their customers last year, they also diligently continued their community outreach efforts. All three Slater Transfer and Storage locations are involved with Move For Hunger™, a nonprofit organization that has embraced working with the household goods moving industry to reduce food waste and fight hunger. Additionally, the St. George, Utah, location has assisted with moves for the Dove Center, a local agency that provides safe-shelter, crisis intervention, and prevention for clients who have been victimized by domestic violence or sexual assault.

“At Slater, we have a plaque in each office location that reads ‘Every Customer Deserves a Perfect Move,’ and we believe charitable organizations in our community deserve the same level of service,” said Craig Slater, CEO of Slater Transfer and Storage. “It’s important to us stay involved in the communities we serve.” Delivering top-notch solutions for both customers and communities is at the top of Slater Transfer and Storage’s priority list, and that dedication has been recognized by the greater Las Vegas area and by the Atlas® family.
