In 2024, many companies maintained or somewhat increased their corporate relocation budgets compared to 2023 as inflation tapered off and the global economy recovered.
- 15% of all companies reported a significant increase in their relocation budget in 2024, an 11% decrease from 2023.
- 43% of all companies reported somewhat of an increase in their relocation budget in 2024, a 1% increase from 2023.
- 30% of all companies reported that their relocation budget stayed about the same in 2024, a 6% increase from 2023.

The trend was similar with corporate relocation volume. Most companies reported that the number of employees relocated in 2024 stayed about the same or increased somewhat. Most companies surveyed relocated between 50-99 employees last year. The number of corporate relocations in the 200-400+ range saw a significant decline compared to 2023.
- 16% of companies reported that the overall number of employees relocated increased significantly from 2023.
- 32% of companies reported that the overall number of employees relocated stayed about the same as 2023.
- 39% of companies reported that the overall number of employees relocated increased somewhat from 2023.
- 42% of companies said international corporate relocations stayed about the same in 2024, while 29% said they increased somewhat, and 17% said they increased significantly.

Companies had a positive outlook on corporate relocation budgets in 2025. Most expected their relocation budgets to increase this year alongside their overall financial performance and a better global economy.
- 57% of companies felt that the global economy was better in 2024 than in 2023, and 61% felt 2025 will surpass 2024.
- 63% of companies said their corporate relocation budget will increase in 2025.
- 65% of companies expected their overall financial performance to improve in 2025.
Similarly, corporate relocations are expected to remain stable in 2025 alongside some uncertainties about the trajectory of the economy.
